- Promote the university's relations with its socio-economic environment and initiate partnership programs.
- Initiate any action to promote inter-university exchanges and cooperation in the fields of teaching and research.
- Conduct animation and communication activities.
- Organize and promote scientific events.
- Ensure the monitoring of training and retraining programs for teachers and ensure their coherence.
The Vice Rectorate of External Relations is composed of two departments:
Service of Inter-University Exchanges, Cooperation and Partnership
- National and international partnership agreements
- Joint supervision of doctoral theses
- European Programs (Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus +)
- Bilateral research projects (CMEP, CNRS, PHC Maghreb, PCIM)
- Visits of foreigners (Reception, Programs)
- Scholarships abroad (Erasmus Mundus, AUF, Islamic Development Bank)

- Support structures (CASAM, BLEU, Entrepreneurship House, PAPS Office)
Service of Scientific Events
- Organising national and international scientific and technical events. Organising national scientific competitions. Handling files related to the organisation of national and international scientific events. Supporting research laboratories and guiding them in organising conferences and events. Preparing the university's information bulletins. Publishing international information and news on the university's website. Preparing brochures, booklets, posters and guides. Supporting and guiding the university's scientific clubs.

This platform is primarily intended for professors and students of the University of Oran 1, allowing access to the platform and registration of requests, namely: request to participate in a scientific event abroad, request to organize a national or international scientific event, and request to book a room from the rooms distributed at the University of Oran 1. Professors and students can access the platform, register, and wait for approval after the request is reviewed. We offer you an easy-to-use platform to submit requests with ease and transparency.

Platform for requesting short-term internships abroad
This electronic platform has been developed for the benefit of the University Vice-Rectorate responsible for External Relations, Cooperation, Animation, Communication and Scientific Events, allowing doctoral students, professors and employees to register online to benefit from short-term internships abroad, after they are announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
