The new Erasmus programme aims to support actions in the areas of education, training, youth and sport for the period 2014-2020 ; this programme aims to give students, trainees, staff and in general to young people, the opportunity to stay abroad to reinforce their skills and increase their employability.
By promoting mobility and cooperation projects in Europe, the Erasmus programme is firmly entrenched in Europe 2020 Strategy and aims to give students, trainees, staff and, in general, young people a chance to strengthen the skills of all for a better employability, to support innovation within educational and training institutions and bodies and their internationalization, to promote a transparent and consistent use at European level of recognition and validation tools, and to promote cooperation between European and non-European countries.
