Faculty of Islamic Sciences
Description
The Laboratory of Qur’anic and Maqāṣid Studies focuses on research related to the foundations and objectives of Islamic legislation, as well as the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah. It pays special attention to the sciences of the Qur’an, both classical and contemporary, including exegesis, the inimitability of the Qur’an, and the various Qur’anic readings.
The laboratory also highlights the Algerian school in the teaching of Qur’anic readings and promotes research in Orientalist studies and contemporary financial transactions.
Moreover, it seeks to open future-oriented research perspectives by encouraging academic exchange among scholars in Islamic sciences and other disciplines. Its aim is to contribute to the development of research in Islamic studies, both theoretically and practically, by linking it to the understanding of current realities and the anticipation of future developments.
